University of Rhode Island Women’s Basketball finally has a true vision…

Head Coach Tammi Reiss, after having the most outstanding season in program history, which included a remarkable 13-Game win streak, has signed a 10 Year Contract that will keep her in Rhode Island for years to come.

Tammi Reiss was recently in for another job at her Alma Mater, Virginia, but stated that “I’ve decided early on to bow out at my alma mater.” Reiss also said that “I don’t like leaving business unfinished.” Her grit and determination to put Rhode Island Women’s Basketball on the map are remarkable. We can only sit here and admire her appreciation for the University of Rhode Island and our Women’s Basketball Program

Coming into next season, Reiss has a ton of work to do; after 5 Seniors who were crucial parts of building the program up from where it was. Have to move on in their basketball journey.

This past season was quite the ride, but we are not finished as a program. We are far from finished. This is not over. It is only the beginning of something extraordinary.
