The Los Angeles Lakers are your 2020 NBA Champions!

The longest season in NBA history is now over. The Lakers utterly destroyed the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the 2020 NBA Finals 106-93. This is the 17th Championship in the Lakers franchise history and with that they have tied the Boston Celtics record for most championships for a NBA Franchise.

The 2020 NBA Season was one crazy ride, Kobe Bryant’s death, a nation-wide pandemic. The NBA Bubble, and of course a country in unrest. The Los Angeles Lakers have not only proved they are the best team in the NBA, but have proved they can overcome these adversities and show the world that we can overcome. That’s the most important message I took from this season.

Lebron said it the best in his post-game interview.

“I want my damn respect”

I truly believe Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have earned that respect this season.
